Finish What You Start
In today's society it seems that people just give up. If something seems to hard, people just quit. I, personally, just cant stand quitting. I hate it when they give up on something they worked so hard on. I saw this all the time when I was in my Construction Classes. Now, its not like this class was hard to begin with (Just hand in a project that looked like more than a wooden box with four nails in it and you generally got 75%-80%). People would have these ideas like a nice oak table, or a spectacular cherry bookcase and they just wouldn't finish it. Why you ask? According to them, it was "A lot harder than it looked". So this project just sat there for the rest of the semester, knowing full well it was destined for scrap or the dumpster. What a way to go, start out as this great plan, end up the missing piece of a beavers wall.
Now, I don't bring this up to go back in time and talk about what happened in my high school days (Lord knows I get enough of that already). I bring this up cause it pains me to see someone put their projects on hold. We live in a time where we all want things done in a micro-second otherwise we dont want it done at all. Maybe we need to revisit the times when mail took at least a month to get from overseas to our business; maybe we need to go back to when the fastest car on earth could only go 100 mph and maybe, just maybe, we need to slow down how long we expect something to get fixed. Cause just cause its broke now, doesnt mean if you work at it, it wont work later.
This is Falcon, signing off.

Good advice. There are too many things started that never get finished. Between you and Mr. Doug Hoffman I might actually finish my novel! No, I WILL finish my novel. *crosses fingers* I hope...
